DAY 1

ARRIVAL IN CAPE TOWN

Welcome to the Cape of Storms! Upon arrival, the Africa Brut team will meet you and take you to your hotel in comfortable transport. The first half of the journey will take place in the wine region of the Western Cape. Lush valleys with endless vineyards, majestic mountains, historic Cape Dutch buildings, and the ambiance of old Europe — all of this will surely make you fall in love with the country from the very first moments.

DAY 2

WINE TASTINGS AND SAFARI

Today, we have South African animals and wines on the agenda, in varying sequences. Get ready to meet giraffes, crocodiles, zebras, antelopes, and sample different tastes of Chardonnay, Pinotage, and Sauvignon Blanc. Celebrate your arrival in South Africa with a refined 7-course lunch and wine tasting at one of the most renowned wineries, Graff Delair. In the evening, you can either take a stroll through Stellenbosch or explore the vineyards on segways. We’ll gather for dinner at the best steakhouse in the region and savor the taste of South African steak.

DAY 3

VISIT TO FRANSCHHOEK

Get ready! We’re heading to a town called Franschhoek, which means “French Corner” in Afrikaans. Lavender fields, French street and wine farm names, and a sea of wine will transport you to Provence. Here, you’ll instantly forget you’re in Africa. A grand wine journey begins. Don’t forget to eat well, as we have five wine tastings ahead! The Africa Brut team recommends choosing paired tastings (such as wine/chocolate, wine/nougat, sparkling/oysters, etc.). This way, the intoxication occurs at a slower pace, and the wines reveal themselves differently 😉. If you like any of the drinks, you can buy them on the spot and hand them over to the tram driver. At the end of the adventure, you can pick up your purchases at the terminal. Before dinner, there will be time to relax and catch your breath. We’ll spend the evening at the luxurious Rust en Vrede winery.

DAY 4

WHALE WATCHING

Our day begins with arrival in Hermanus, where we’ll enjoy a walk through the cozy streets of this charming town. Here, you can see numerous shops with unique souvenirs, cozy cafes, and restaurants, and enjoy the local atmosphere.

*In November trips, we’ll also have a whale watching experience. We’ll arrange a boat cruise in search of these local giants. Trust us, if we’re lucky, it will be the most impressive and unforgettable encounter of your life.

*In February, we’ll visit a vineyard recognized as the best in all of South Africa and learn to open wine bottles with a saber.

DAY 5

A VISIT TO THE CAPE MALAYS

If you woke up today full of energy and strength, then adventures await! Don’t deny yourself anything at breakfast, as we’ll be getting to know the city of Cape Town. The real, lively, sometimes unappealing, but no less charming city. We’ll also visit the vintage Bo-Kaap district, where the famous colorful houses are located, still inhabited by descendants of the first Malays who arrived in the Cape. You’ll get an interesting historical summary from our guide and take bright photos to last a year! By this time, your appetite will have been whetted, as every corner of the neighborhood entices with spicy curry aromas. But to get lunch, you’ll have to cook it at a culinary master class under the careful guidance of a local chef. Write down every little secret and recipe to surprise your family and friends upon return. There’s nothing better than combining the pleasant with the useful — a walk through the Two Oceans Aquarium will open up the underwater world of the South African coast and ease the feeling of fullness after a hearty lunch.

In the evening, we’ll enjoy a breathtaking sunset on Signal Hill with a glass of wine in hand, immersing ourselves in the magical moment. We’ll finish this day with dinner at the Gold restaurant, where you can enjoy traditional dishes from across the African continent to the sounds of marimba and lively folk dances.

DAY 6

THE AMAZING NATURE OF THE CAPE PENINSULA

A hearty breakfast will be very timely today, as we’re heading to one of South Africa’s main symbols — the Cape of Good Hope. The name “Cape of Storms” came from this very place, from the bay where Portuguese ships crashed against the rocks. To reach the coveted sign and take the legendary photo, you’ll embark on your first hike along a wooden path and mountain slope. Then, we’ll ascend to the lighthouse, which offers the most unforgettable view of the edge of the world.

Of course, the wonders don’t end there! The next paradox — penguins in Africa. One of the main reasons to visit this country. Watch fluffy chicks in little houses, couples gently holding each other’s flippers, and group runs into the waves. There will be plenty of impressions!

In the evening, we’ll have dinner at the amazing La Colombe, one of Cape Town’s most popular and nominated restaurants. We’ll try exquisite combinations of French and Japanese cuisines, discuss impressions of the trip, and create another shared memory.

DAY

DAY 7

OYSTERS AND BRAAI

By this day, you’ll have noticed that oysters are one of the main highlights here. We’re going on a trip to an oyster farm to see how one of the world’s most popular delicacies is grown. You won’t find such fresh oysters anywhere else. We’ll try different variations — with vinegar, Tabasco, plain, but believe us, we haven’t met anyone yet who remains indifferent to oysters: either it’s love forever, or “never again.” You just have to find out which group you belong to!

We also can’t ignore South African barbecue — braai. We’ll check into a villa with a stunning view in the evening, throw a party, and meet a real South African who will show us how it’s done in this part of the world, teach us how to grill South African game, and discuss the differences between the barbecue we all know and South African braai.

*In February trips, we’ll also have a humpback whale watching experience. We’ll arrange an expedition on a boat in search of these local giants. Trust us, if we’re lucky, it will be the most impressive and unforgettable encounter of your life.

DAY

DAY 8

RELAXATION ON THE WEST COAST

Today, we’ll spend the day like true Capetonians. In the morning, we’ll go to the weekend market, where you can pick up souvenirs from Africa or simply enjoy breakfast. Afterwards, we’ll head to Cape Town’s most beautiful beach — Camps Bay. A postcard view and beautiful photos are guaranteed, and the bravest can even take a dip in the cool waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Then, we’ll go for a picnic at a winery and end the evening watching the sunset from Table Mountain.
